Welcome to JobPilot. By accessing or using JobPilot at jobpilot.prathi.tech, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of JobPilot, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have a valid Google account, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

JobPilot is an AI-powered job automation platform that helps job seekers:

• Search and find matching job listings across 50+ portals

• Generate ATS-optimized resumes using Gemini AI

• Compose and send professional job application emails

• Monitor Gmail for job-related reply emails

• Find nearby part-time jobs and companies

3. Permitted Use

JobPilot is licensed for personal, non-commercial job-seeking purposes only. You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for spam, bulk unsolicited outreach, or harassment

• Attempt to circumvent any security or access controls

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

• Share your account credentials with others

• Use automated bots or scripts to access the service beyond its intended automation features

4. Google Account & Gmail Access

JobPilot requires a Google account for authentication. By connecting your Google account, you grant JobPilot permission to:

• Access your basic profile information (name, email, profile picture)

• Read job-related emails from Gmail (read-only, filtered by keywords)

• Send job application emails on your explicit instruction

You can revoke these permissions at any time from your Google Account settings.

5. AI-Generated Content

JobPilot uses Google Gemini AI to generate resumes, cover letters, and emails. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is provided as a suggestion only

• You are responsible for reviewing content before sending

• JobPilot is not liable for the accuracy or outcome of AI-generated content

• AI may occasionally produce inaccurate information — always verify before use

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of your profile, resume, and application information

• All emails and applications sent through JobPilot on your behalf

• Complying with the terms of service of job portals you apply to through JobPilot

7. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Job listings are sourced from third-party APIs (Adzuna) and may not always be current or accurate. We are not responsible for the content of third-party job listings.

8. Intellectual Property

JobPilot and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developers and are protected by copyright laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the JobPilot software without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

JobPilot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Job application outcomes or hiring decisions

• Any data loss or service interruptions

• Third-party job portal policies or actions

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 24 hours.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of JobPilot after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
